The company organized a viewing of the [Conference Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War].
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, in order to remember history, honor our martyrs, cherish peace, and create a better future, and to vigorously promote the great spirit of the War of Resistance, further inspiring our employees' patriotic enthusiasm and national pride, on September 3, the company’s Administration Department took the lead in organizing Party members and some employees to gather in the fourth-floor conference room to watch live coverage of the commemorative rally and military parade together, jointly witnessing the strength and might of our country and the heroic bearing of our armed forces, and uniting our efforts to move forward with determination.
At exactly 9 o'clock, the ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War kicked off amid the solemn sound of the national anthem. General Secretary Xi delivered an important speech, followed by a spectacular military parade.
In front of the screens, Party members and some employees of the company held their breath, fearing they might miss a single moment: formations of fighter jets streaked across the sky, carrying enormous Party flags, national flags, and military flags; waves of armored vehicles rolled forward in an unstoppable torrent, mighty troops lined up in formation, their resolute steps echoing through mountains and rivers; brand-new armored vehicles rumbled along Chang'an Avenue, their steel tide showcasing the strength and prowess of a great nation. Each breathtaking scene ignited the passion and pride of everyone present, and applause thundered one after another, lingering long into the night. This military parade is not only a grand commemoration of the victory over the war but also a solemn declaration of our country’s relentless march toward becoming a strong nation and a powerful military.
As the military parade drew to a close and the screens went dark, the roar of an iron tide still echoed in our hearts. In that moment, the four words “A Prosperous and Strong Nation” ceased to be mere slogans and became the very rhythm of our pulses—weighing heavily on each of our shoulders. We must never forget the sacrifices made by our 35 million compatriots, and even more so, we must live up to the oath we’ve sworn: “I will contribute to a strong nation.”
